UX/UI Design

Eni Bebic is a holistic chef based in New York City. She spreads joy through the delicious and healthy meals she prepares.

My Role

My mission was to design her brand identity and define her site’s information architecture showcasing the different services that she offers, and making it easy for people to understand the benefits of holistic nutrition.

Timeline

Two months.

Discovery Questions

Since my client did not have an existing website I went ahead and developed multiple questions that helped me understand her business and needs.  Some of the questions I asked at the early stage of the process were:

1. Describe your business in a few sentences.

2. Who is your target audience?

3. What is the main goal for creating a website?

4. What specific features do you want on the site?

5. Who are your main competitors?

6. What can we do for retention?

7. What makes you different from your competitors?

8. What is the scoop of the project?

Competitor Analysis Chart

I sat down with my client and discussed in details her direct and indirect competitors. The functionality of their websites, and how my client was different from them.

We worked together on the chart that is above. Then we run an analysis that’s reflected on chart on the left.  By doing so we discovered what features my client wanted to display on her site.

Site Map

I worked with the client to figure out the website structure and content. The sitemap was purposefully kept small and shallow to ensure that the website loads quickly and is easily navigated.

I sketched out some initial concepts and wireframes  and discussed them with the client to ensure that we were both on the same page.

Final Version

The main goal was to create a website that showcased the services offered by the chef. Once she was happy with the initial direction, I moved into Photoshop to put some concepts together. The homepage below is centered around a background image with easy accessibility to her services and contact.

Secondary Pages

One of the objectives for the web design was to make sure that her clients could better understand what holistic nutrition is. I went ahead and designed a whole page dedicated to the benefits of holistic nutrition.
